The experience was superb and opened up new vistas. I liked the way things were explained, the anecdotes an personal experiences Each one was significant and special in it's own way. The information given was substantial. Great care had been taken, as children learnin bits and pieces. What ITIHAAS is doing out on the roads is amazing. It links the world of words with the real world of people. It makes information come alive and thus makes it believable. Children remember what they see and feel. All their senses work and it is onlythis way that national pride and feelings for the Nation's integrity can be harnessed.

I enjoyed everything. The talk given by Smita was so engaging and absorbing, as it covered awide range of experiences. It is amazing what she can do with 150 children. The walk was very well managed and superbly conducted. All the co-ordinators from ITIHAAS were very helpful. The mosque was an eye-opener. The resendential areas and old lanes , though crowded exuded an aura of warmth. These trips should happen more often.

The trip was an eye-opener. Amazing to see aCHurch in the midst of Muslim population. It was also the most beautiful blend of Islamic and European architecture. The visit to the superbly run Primary School was my favourite. The planning and execution of the walk was well thought out and it was just right for the students of class 6. Altough they would have loved to spend more time there. ITIHAAS is a wonderful concept as it enhances and cements classroom teaching with practical first hand experiences. Thanks for doing something different for our children and adding value to education.

Smita's love for Culture an Tradition is infectious. She draws you in completely. It is amazing how the children listen to her even on the most crowded streets. The minutest of details as well as architectural information is given with such ease. I have been to the fort on many occasions, but with ITIHAAS. The trip takes on a completely new flavor. If these can be arranged for teachers separately as well it would be wonderful.

The narration of stories linked to the sited we visitedwas really good. One could see how the students got to see the relevance of the structures. It was amazing to see the students involvement. Infact the ITIHAAS trips are a great experience for us as well. I feel equipped with amazing facts with reference to the topics we discuss in the classroom, as part of curriculum and otherwise. The information given was just right for class 8 level.

The entire trip was enjoyable. Some of the places pointed out by ITIHAAS usually goes unnoticed by us. The ITIHAAS people know how to reach out to each child even in a large group. The length of the walk and duration was just right. The orientation which had been conducted at the school proved very helpful, as the students were prepared about many things. The ITIHAAS trips liven up the whole learning process. Such experiences/learning processes are everlasting and leave an indelible mark .It is heartning to know that such services are being rendered. Something which is a class apart.

The entire walk is superb. The timing just right for the children. The manner of narration is very intresting and caters to every kind of learner. The students discussed the information amongst themselves. What is very intresting is that they recall it even after 1 year. They have lots of questions to ask and all were handled superbly by Smita.
